A premium gin martini brand that needed a sophisticated digital presence to match their craft cocktail experience.
A premium gin martini brand—already award-winning with placements in Total Wine and local Minnesota retailers—needed a digital presence as sophisticated as their craft cocktails.
I built their full e-commerce experience in Figma and developed it in Cursor, integrating Bottle Nexus for DTC alcohol sales compliance and fulfillment. Rather than starting from scratch, I extracted their existing brand assets—lifting the typeface directly from their logo and carrying their signature colors throughout every screen—so the design felt like a natural extension of what they'd already built. Being resourceful with what exists is always faster than reinventing.
For product imagery, I turned to Google Whisk powered by Imagen 4—this was before AI image generation became the default move—and iterated through 300+ generated shots to land on 30 that perfectly captured their vision. This opened creative territory traditional photography couldn't reach, at a fraction of the cost. AI-assisted copywriting with Claude established the foundation, then the client refined it—proving the best work still needs the human touch.
