HealThrive Recovery
An addiction treatment center requiring a compassionate and trustworthy digital presence to help families find hope and healing.

An addiction recovery center serving Minnesota's underserved populations, primarily the Somali, Ethiopian, Hmong, and Latin communities, needed a digital presence that could break through cultural stigma while establishing professional credibility during their licensing phase.
Working under a tight two-week deadline and limited budget, I stepped into a creative director role to parallel-track the project. I managed a contractor for the initial brand exploration while I built the website, then personally executed the final design refinement. I polished the logo's home and leaf motif to ensure it embodied growth and healing, and curated a color palette rooted in variations of healing green to convey renewal, balance, and natural restoration.
I developed the full website in Framer so the client could easily maintain it themselves. Using AI-generated imagery (Imagen 4), I created culturally representative visuals showing people from the communities they serve. This visual approach helps combat the silence around addiction that is often prevalent in immigrant populations. The site streamlines appointment booking and clearly outlines services and the treatment timeline to reduce friction for people starting recovery. I also extended the work to include social media graphics with Photoshop compositing. The result is a polished digital presence that brings the level of design quality typically reserved for established institutions to a vital community health resource.
